This is the very first quilt I made. I cringe at the seams now though!!!
This is the second quilt I made and the first where I tried hand-quilting. No close-up to see my "toe-catcher" quilting stitches!
I made this wall-hanging with blocks I won from a block lottery at the Lion's Gate Quilter's Guild. The top right is the block I made. I got the little red sailboat buttons in the border from a pen pal in France.
My Hubs named this one "Mountain Dew & Grape Crush! All hand-pieced, quilted with high-loft polyester(eww!) batting.
"Starflower", top made by a member of the Lion's Gate Quilt Guild, partially hand-quilted by quilt show visitors. Hand-quilting finished and binding added by me.
