Country Village QAL, Part 4 will be delayed…sorry!

Hi peeps!

I am so sorry to report that Part 4 of the Country Village Quilt-A-Long will be delayed by a week, and will be on June 3rd. This means that the rest of the QAL posts will all be delayed by one week as well. I will adjust the schedule to show the new dates.

It seemed like the world was conspiring against me, when it came to my sewing time! I had 2 unplanned appointments, plus trips to go visit my Dad. We also had a few days of really hot weather, and I just cannot sew when it is hot like that as my kitchen table(where I sew) is hit with hot sun from about 11 AM till long after supper.

I have 13.5 blocks done so far and have got a bit of a system going! I probably mentioned before that I like to stop sewing with a half-completed block, so that when I start again, I can just jump in. It seems easier that way!

Just 11.5 blocks to go…

How is everybody doing with their blocks?

Sharing is caring!!! Don't forget that I am happy to share with your friends…feel free to pin to Pinterest, post on Google+ and Facebook, and Tweet away! Just please play fair and make sure your posts link back to this blog.

*If you mouse/hover over the top right corner of my photos, a red "Pin-it" button will show up and all you have to do is click it to be taken to Pinterest. There is also another red button right beside it for posting to Facebook and Twitter. Or, you could always use the little square grey buttons at the end of this post.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

  1. Here from WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced! I hadn't seen this QAL, but I love the look of your blocks - they look like they'd be great with leftover bits of FQs.

    1. Hi there Sel,
So happy that you stopped by! Yes, these blocks would look great all scrappy or similar colours together. Then you could use just 2 specific prints for the center of the block to tie them all together!
